Oexa achieves ETP2 certification, bringing fully paperless eScripts to Light

Brisbane, Australia – 24 July 2026 – Following its recent ETP1 certification through eRx Script Exchange, Oexa today announced its next milestone towards prescribing: Light has achieved ETP2 certification through eRx Script Exchange. ETP2 certification enables fully paperless electronic prescriptions (eScripts) – prescriptions delivered to patients as digital tokens, without an accompanying paper prescription. It completes Electronic Transfer of Prescriptions through eRx, building on ETP1, which securely transferred prescription data alongside the patient’s paper prescription. With eScripts, a patient receives their prescription as a secure digital token on their phone, which can be presented at any pharmacy for dispensing – reducing paper and streamlining the patient journey across prescribing and dispensing. The remaining milestone is prescribing conformance with the ADHA, which will bring prescribing fully into Light’s connected clinical platform, allowing pharmacists to manage clinical services and prescribing in one place as their scope of practice continues to expand.
