Light submits for Healthcare Identifiers (HI) Service conformance

Light Platform, Oexa’s clinical services platform for pharmacy, has submitted for Healthcare Identifiers (HI) Service conformance with the Australian Digital Health Agency – laying the foundation that supports My Health Record and the rest of Australia’s national health stack.

Big step for the Oexa team. Light Platform, our clinical services platform for pharmacy, has just submitted for Healthcare Identifiers (HI) Service conformance with the Australian Digital Health Agency through their new Digital Health Implementer Hub (it’s a user-friendly portal!). HI Service is the national system that uniquely identifies every patient, every practitioner, and every healthcare organisation in Australia. It’s the foundation the rest of the national stack is built on, including My Health Record. We’re laying these foundations now as part of our Prescribing build, but the impact is much bigger than that. For pharmacy, a proper national identifier foundation under future services and consults. For doctors, visibility into what’s happening for their patients in pharmacy. For patients, a more complete record across their whole care journey. Groundwork that unlocks everything next.
